About Us

Jason Houston is the founder of the Jellyfish Sting Kit and an avid beachgoer who lives in Charleston, South Carolina. He frequently takes his daughter, Evie, who is 7, to the beach for fun-filled days in the sun and sand.

One day while at the beach, Evie was stung by a jellyfish and Houston was unsure of what to do. People around him suggested peeing on the sting, but he knew that wasn’t a safe or effective solution. After doing some research, Houston discovered that vinegar was the recommended treatment for jellyfish stings. He decided to create a kit that contained all of the necessary tools and instructions for treating jellyfish stings, including vinegar, plastic tweezers, step-by-step instructions, and hydrocortisone cream.

Houston manufactures the kit locally in Charleston, South Carolina, and is excited to share it with others. The Jellyfish Sting Kit is a must-have for anyone who frequents the beach, especially those in areas where jellyfish are abundant.

Houston is passionate about helping people enjoy the beach safely and confidently. He believes that the Jellyfish Sting Kit can help families feel more prepared and empowered, knowing that they have the tools they need to deal with jellyfish stings quickly and effectively.

Stingtings was created in Charleston, SC by Jason Houston and his daughter, Evie Houston.
